The Island Adventure Centre office is located at the Heriot Bay Inn on spectacular Quadra Island, British Columbia, Canada. Quadra Island is the most populated of the Discovery islands a stunning archipelago of islands located between the much larger Vancouver Island and the mainland of British Columbia.
The islands enjoy a mild climate benefiting from the rain shadow effect of the Strathcona Park mountains on Vancouver Island. The dramatic mountains and fjordal inlets of the mainland coast are part of one of the world's greatest wilderness areas and are home to a wide range of wildlife. Eagles, grizzly bears, sea lions, dolphins and orca whales make their home here feeding on the rushing tidal waters.

From Vancouver, BC Ferries depart for Vancouver Island from Horseshoe Bay and Tsawassen, landing in Duke Point and Departure Bay (Nanaimo) and Swartz Bay (Victoria) on Vancouver Island.Click here for ferry info.
A two-hour drive north from Nanaimo (three-and-a-half from Victoria) finds you in Campbell River at the BC Ferries terminal with hourly departures for Quadra Island. A quick eight minutes across the island finds you at the scenic Heriot Bay Inn.
